Year 2 Poems

 

The children are learning about all things that fly!  Including space rockets and hot air balloons.

They have written some lovely poems.

Little world spinning round

People walking on you

In the morning the moon goes

The sun comes out

And shines on you.

Zooming into the sky

Crackling through the night sky

Shooting past the moon

And we should explore

The Galaxy

Nothing will stop me from glowing light

Rockets zooming in the night

Don't be scared

Come out and start your light

Come out tomorrow night

And then you can make

Your beautiful twinkling light

In the milky way

Seeing stars like small suns

Hours and hours it took

Zooming through the milky way

And zooming to earth

Fifty hours it took to zoom

Round the milky way

And back to earth
